Ha'azinu and Shabbat Shuva

Shalom in Messiah Yeshua! Dear friends, If you have sent us an email over the past two to three weeks can you please resend? This week we had a computer glitch which caused us to lose a bulk of emails from our Microsoft Outlook account. Thank you! Personally, I think I have learned two very important lessons from this experience... 1) back-up all important files and 2) Mac is probably a better computer (at least the commercials on their website are pretty convincing). So are you ready for the new Torah cycle? We are winding down our studies in the book of Deuteronomy and it is almost time to start over again. This week we are studying the Torah portion Ha’azinu: Ha’azinu: “Hear” Torah: Deuteronomy 32:1-52 Haftarah: 2 Samuel 22:1-51 This Shabbat is known as Shabbat Shuva – the Sabbath of Return as it falls between the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah/Yom T’ruah and Yom Kippur. Apostolic Reading: Acts 24-26 Apostolic passages to correspond with Ha’azinu: Romans 10:14-21 Romans 12:14-21 Hebrews 12:28-39 -this listing is taken from the Complete Jewish BibleBlessings on your study! May you have an easy fast on Yom Kippur and we pray your observance will be meaningful while reflecting upon the atoning work of Messiah Yeshua for our salvation and redemption!
